I just had this weird feeling when I was unloading the dishwasher! I actually got the urge to blog! After two weeks, it's finally back in my fluttery tummy!
Does that make me boring, blog? Is my life really that glum at the moment that I've had nothing to tell you? I think I'm just on a fun break right now. You know; it's my body's way of making sure I don't have a fun overload... I suppose
yeah, whatever
My poooor big, fat bunny fell into the pond, today! :-( He had been racing around the guinea pig run (we're looking after them) and he got over excited! We snuggled him into a big, yellow towel and let him watch the Olympics with us in the lounge; bless him.
Yeah, that's right, I've been watching the Olympics. I've really been enjoying it, actually. It's weird! I couldn't care less about sports, but I'm realising how much I enjoy watching gymnastics, weight-lifting and swimming. I suppose because I'd love to be able to do them! I was watching the ladies swimming the other night and a UK girl won gold. I wasn't really paying much attention, but then I saw how overwhelmed and excited she was! A beautiful girl, only 19, and she was so happy and lovely, and I thought, this is really nice :-)
I don't care that she's from the UK, though. I really don't understand patriotism. Why would I want her to win more just because she lives slightly closer to me? How shallow would that make me? I can't stand the "my country's better than your country" attitude of events like this. I just love people to be brilliant, no matter who they are, where they're from. I love watching amazing people perform.
Like Phelps! The USA male swimmer! He's broken so many records and won't be stopping anytime soon. I find it so amazing that he is THE BEST swimmer on the entire planet. There's not a person out there that could out-swim him. And even better: there has never been a person—in all of history—on this planet that could've beaten him. He is the best ever. What a amazing dude! It makes me want to go to Bejing! Well, tomorrow morning I'll be driving Phil and Ria to the train station to go to the Olympics theirselves! Should be amazing! (for them; I'm just driving)
Marks & Spencer started charging for carrier bags in May. Just ten weeks later, 70 million less carrier bags were used by customers. That's 80% less bags, earning £200,000 for charity. Can you believe that? 5p for a bag and now everyone stops using them. Dammit, blog, these people wouldn't complain if 5p was added to their food bill, but for a bag they won't do it. Everyone can bring their own bags and now they're being forced to. How lazy are these people that they have to be forced to do it? Do they really hate the environment that much!? Anyone who's not re-using bags when they shop makes me a sad panda.
I'm leaving for Guernsey at 3am Saturday! I'll tell yee all aboot it!!
lol, poor rabbit. Its awesome when they do stupid things though
