This is pretty weird, I'm writing this with a wet tea bag on my eye. I've got a stye and I hate those things.

Saturday night was cool, Speed and I went to see Blood Red Shoes play at the Welsh Clwb. Really small band so the support was pretty rubbish, but they were really good! Apart from the singer having flu and not being able to sing. Luckily the drummer did most of the singing. It was still good.

We got home pretty early. Early enough to have Nat and her boyfriend come over for a cordial and a chat. They were in town cause Nat was playing in the ultimate frisby tournament down the road, along with 16 other universities! All girls so of course Speed and I went to watch them play a few games on Sunday. It was pretty hypnotising to watch!

I've been in such a "can't be bothered" mood today. I can judge how productive I'm feeling by how many cookies I eat. Today's been a bad day. Anyway, I think it's because of the antihistamines the doctor put me on. Apparently they could make me feel drowsy. I wasn't going to go to the doctors after my house-mates ripped it out of me. They told me the doctor would laugh me out of the surgery when I tell him I have a "blocked nose". But the other day I built up the confidence to go, I wouldn't give in to those bullies. I've had it for ages now and I can't sleep proper!

I swear I should stay away from toasters. Ya'll remember I bough the iToaster not long ago because I broke the old toaster by melting cheese into it? Well I was sat in the kitchen this morning waiting for my toast to cook and suddenly the iToaster made a huge spark and tripped the entire electrics in the house. Now it won't work! I'm going to take it back to Tescos with stern words. Stern indeed.

This weekend should be pretty crazy. Speed and I have decided to go on a road trip and stay the night somewhere. We don't know where we're going to go but it should be fun! I'll take lots of pictures and tell you all about it when I return!
