This isn't a post, I'm just telling you about how annoying the fire drill at 6:30 in the morning was last night! I was first woken by someone else's block going off, I thought it was kids messing around so I got up to go to the toilette, as I reached for the door, the alarm directly above me went off sooo loud! I almost jumped at the floor! I panicked to find clothes, grabbed a jumper and coat and went out in my ankle biting jim-jams with skinny ankles and massive shoes. I looked a treat, couldn't help but laugh as I walked out.When I got back in bed, my ears were ringing! And when I finally got back to sleep, it was time to get up!
my thoughts at first glance- "fire plus power-tools equals crying" i did not understand- but im sure any other rational being would have figured it out. So do you live in residence or a house/ apartment, i cant really figure it out? I lived in res my first year- but it ended up being the exspensive loser one and there was only one fire drill which was at a reasonable hour.

Hey Mel! Yeah, I'm in halls, it's crazy! Everything is new/wierd/exciting/fun, I love it here though.

What course are you doing? is Canada uni like UK uni? Cause I though in America it's college?

ReplyDeleteYeah my brother is in rez (hes 18) its pretty close to my apartment so he stops by to smoke pot alot (very popular in canada). The college question, i actually just learned the answer this year, In canada: University is where you go to get a degree, College is where you go to get a deploma ie. dental hygenist. In the US University is where you can get a undergrad, MA or PHD, while colleges only offer undergrad. Diplomas you get at trade schools. WHooooa- and now you know.
