Ok, before I tell you about the party, let me just tell you about yesterday day.
Picture the scene, me and Speed are hungry so we want to get some food before our lecture in 10 minutes. We find our way to Greg's, and I order a nice, masculine, sausage roll. Now imagine my amusement, and embarrassment, when Speed marches up and says:
"Let me get a sausage roll....
"....and a flake fancy, please"
A FLAKE FANCY!?!? I was in hysterics in the bakery. Flake bloody fancy. Honestly. He assured me, as he ate it in tutorial, that it was very nice...
Anyway, with that over, let us get on to the party. Yeah, it was good actually! We had our second house party since we've been here. It would be hard for it to keep up with the first one, but let me tell you, it did. H1 & H2 throw a good house party, face it. The turn out was even better, there were loads of people from our kitchen, right through to outside, right through to H1's kitchen. And loads of people outside! Soo many people came in fancy dress! This is what H1 went as:
Btw, that's Liz's brother as the greenman and Dave, red. But our flat didn't really make an effort. Deji went as Blade, and that looked pretty good, Ali made a ninja mask out of a tee, and me, Jake and Julian didn't go as anything. But still, it was a party. And somehow Jake ended up looking like this:
and me, somehow, like this: I don't know who she is, but the name of the picture makes me think her name is Gemma.
Anyway, it was good. Nothing went bad, except Deji's rugby mates cooked a few garlics in our microwave (and my carrot!) it stank. and some weird girl who was spraying people with talcon powder smashed a bottle next door. Oh and, I've just opened my blinds and there's egg shell stuck to my window... well done
Deji ordered a load of laughing gas which a lot of people did. Not me though, that shit's whack. Deji's speakers broke too (good in some ways: no more "mystery girl" every single day. Oh, btw, someone last night told me it's actually promiscuous girl) and we finally got busted by security at about 11.
And just to show that I still think of you and midnight when everyone has left and gone down town, but I can't cause I have a presentation the next day, I got you some sneaky pics of the rubble afterwards:
Not pretty. I heard the cleaners this morning, I felt very guilty. We would've done it!.... but they got there first.
The presentation went very well by the way! Though she did say some of the formatting was a bit rubbish, but that's because we had to use OpenOffice! It looked fine in PowerPoint! Their fault!
I wasn't really nervous at all in the end! Those days have gone.
See you later
hey, your party looked like alot of fun, I was at one just like it, but i think all halloween parties must be pretty similar. I really like when you go through pictures and are hugging people and have no idea what their name is. Its how you kow you had a good night.

ReplyDeleteWow, hey! That great! I use to try to find good blogs that were about real peoples lives, but I just found loads of company pages and foreign pages.
ReplyDeleteYou should DEFFO make a blog! I've really enjoyed doing mine. I think everyone has something to blog about even if they think they don't.
If you make one I'll read it, and I hope you enjoy mine!
You'd understand if you had bought a flake fancy too.
