Mainly revision

I'm getting so sick of revision now. I'm not stressed, I'm just so bored and fidgety. I feel like a sack of angry cats. My basic routine for the day is:
  • get up, eat
  • revise
  • check emails, even though I know I have none 'cause my computer beeps when I get one
  • repeat
Going to the gym is a total release, though. It feels good to shed some physical energy. But today I went on a nice walk to do my "big shop" and I get drenched by the perfectly timed rain. I got back in and it stopped.

Okay, so this hasn't been the coolest start to 2008. But straight after my exams, things are going to get really cool. It's all going to start with some decent clubbing: Metros. Then...
  • Monday I'm jamming in my band with a new singer and guitarist I managed to find.
  • Tuesday I'm going to a mosaic class! It's my first meeting with the art society and, although mosaics aren't the most interesting thing in the world, I still think it'll be really cool.
  • Wednesday my prayers have been answered once again and I'm off to see Circa Survive for the third time! They're on the Kerrang tour with Coheed & Cambria who should also be amazing (for the second time).
  • I'm gunna chill on Thursday...
I've decided my girlfriend is going to be called "Mindy". We looked her up on Facebook but didn't have much luck. Talking of Facebook, let me stress how important it is to not add any of those crappy applications to your profile. Apart from the obvious annoying your friends, making your profile look crap and making you look like a messy person; all sorts of problems are starting to brew around them. People are making applications with malicious software to spy on you etc and some applications sneakily tell you in the small print that they will be publishing your personal details to earn their selves money. Also, apparently the Facebook founder is a total piss-kidney that will sell your personal details, but who knows.

Take a look at this picture:

Isn't it cool! Speed created, printed and framed this for my Christmas present (along with a really interesting book). What a dude! I've always said the best presents are paid for with effort, not money. And I'm so jealous of him. The other night he went on his first lucid dream! I want my first lucid dream! Ahh well, I'm a patient man. I'm good at waiting for things.

I wanna thank Mel again for that list of films to watch. Last night I watched the second of a two part: "Before Sunset". Make sure you watch them in order. They're both really nice films, romantic, but not cheesy or cliché. And not the sort that makes single people feel depressed. Both of the films are made with long shots of this couple walking through Paris having really deep conversations with some philosophy. Two thumbs up!

Well! ...See you soon!

  2. Oh neat you have a blog as well! I love reading people's thoughts, they're so much more enthralling than the stuff I have to read for school.

  3. ok, so i wasn't gonna post cuz I'm exhausted but then I saw I was mentioned (yay) I'm so glad you liked the movies! (and didnt pass them off as cheesy chick flicks). So you invented a girlfrind named mindy... ummmm... Also, its so cool you joine the art society, i love art mosaics are actually more fun then you think- ar you working with glass or ceramic, i hope its glass, i just think glass is way prettier- but you have to be really careful as the glass shard get stuck in your fingers no matter what and they stay for like a year. I also agree the gym is a good release, but honestly i go at lest 4 days a week since before summer and its still a challenge to to drag myself there.
ok this reply is too long- ciao for now!
ps. if you've burned through the movies i can always suggest more- just ask.
