Hello!

I have quite a lot to tell you. Not much of it involves me though, because I've been stuck in my room with the sniffles... observing. Here's what I have observed:

First one, big one, I was all led in bed after watching a family guy, and I heard lots of banging outside. This is pretty usual in Senghennydd Court. Anyway, I heard some glass smash. Then more banging after a minute or two. Then all the girls around my flat screamed! Something bad had happened. I heard a loud bang / thud... I couldn't really be bothered to get out of bed, but then I heard one of the girls talking on the phone saying something like "Ambulance please. Someone's just fell off the third floor balcony at Senghennydd Court".

Someone had fell off the third floor balcony in the block next to mine! Check it out!:

Nasty. The drunk bastard had smashed the window in the door to get into the stairwell, then went to the top floor (when he actually lived on the floor below), banged on the door a bit (something about his girlfriend) then, as far as I know, he lost his balance and fell over the balcony.

There wasn't a sound at first, just people saying "Are you ok! Can you hear me!", but when the ambulance / police turned up, there was lots of screaming. It sounded terrid!

Apparently he didn't break himself too bad. He was lucky to miss the concrete step! Landed on his side and broke his arm and rib, as far as I know. This was a perfect reminder of why I don't drink much / often.

In other news, Steve (lives upstairs) got his motorbike stolen the other day. Kawasaki Ninja, if I remember correctly. Looking on the net it looks like it was worth like 7 grand! It was chained up to a post and two guys lifted it right over and put it in the back of a van. They've found some CCTV footage now, there's a small flicker of hope!

The new Circa Survive CD finally got to me today:

It's pretty good! Not as good as Juturna I don't think. But it'll probably grow on me. I hate to say I was expecting more though...

Today a girl and a boy rang our doorbell. They were all like "hey, we're from the Christian union, would you like us to do your washing up for you?" excuse me? What, just for free? I take it you want money? Or are they just doing the 'right thing' to help them get into heaven? No, seriously, I think they were raising money for some holiday they're going on, but I got rid of them. They went straight over to the girls' and they let them in!

ahh man, I swear I had way more to tell ya! But I forget it all! I should start making memos. I might get a Dictaphone and every time something interesting happens I'll be all like "hahah! Hang on a minute... memo to self: ...."

SAT2000 got it's first bit of spam on the comments today. Deleted swiftly. It's had 44 downloads since it's launch (14th May) though!! Cool! I didn't think anyone would get it! You should get it!!

Anyway, I'm going to go now before I start talking boring. Speak to you soon!!!!

  3. Aw dude I've missed you! When are you going to the Tate? I'll come!

What did you tell the Christians? Did I tell you I'm going to be treasurer for the Cardiff Atheist and Agnostic Society next year? You should join.

  4. hey there- that window thing was really scary- a few weeks ago, i was walking down and empty street and saw a house on fire and proceed to burn down, i called the fire station but it took like 8 minutes and the fire got huge. I think its so yuckie that those people come around and offer to clean, i guess its point is to make you feel guilty of indebted to them or something, or just guilty for using strangers like that.
looks like all is weel ith you i know its been a while.
    cheers.
