Right. Hi. Sorry it's been a while again. I've been playing bass for about and hour and a half. I don't play it nearly as much as I use to: every Friday like clockwork! In the old man band! Just playing on my own now brings back so many memories of that. I didn't realise at the time just how special it was. Looking back, it was amazing. It's hard to describe a memory or emotion. Just think of something amazing and times it by 10.
I think to myself that I don't have anything like that now. But really I know this whole university experience it exactly that! I know one day, probably soon, I'll look back at this and smile! It really hasn't been that long since I was playing in the old man band! I would really love to get into a proper band though... That and getting a girlfriend are the two things I've wanted for a loooong time!

But I think Melve would appreciate it more than me!I think last post I told you I was going to Tiger Tiger on Monday. And I did! It was good! Speed and his little friends came along. I lost the other guys while buying drinks for Jake and Amy. So I drank the drinks and hung with Speed. Even got a little drunk! When I woke up the next day I found this in the bathroom:
It wasn't me, by the way! It STANK!In fact I've been drinking way more than usual lately. I'm really not into drinking, I think it's tacky and people get way too over excited about doing it. Get over it! It's liquid! But yesterday I enjoyed it cause we went somewhere that played something other than drum&bass/dance. Plus I saw Katy.K and Pat from work! It was really good! Must go there again sometime.
Hey, it's only a week 'till my birthday! And Nat's coming back to Bristol! (so am I) I can't WAIT to see her and Phil and Ria. I love them all.
Let me tell you a quick story before I go. It was ages ago and I was driving Phil, Dan and myself back from a night on the town. Phil was completely drunk and we were driving along near my road when he asked me to pull over so he could rugby tackle the island light thing (in the middle of the road, big light thing with an arrow on it). So I did and he ran off to do it. As he was running back I kept pulling away before he could get in the car! He was getting pretty desperate to get in the car, and I didn't know why. When I finally let him in he told me the police saw him and were coming! I drove off and soon enough, the police pulled me over. I shat a brick! hahah, good times though. And they didn't even breathalyse me! (or check my licence!) we were lucky!
Anyway, off to play poker with Jon now. He's in the poker society so if I never blog again it's because I sold my computer.

Uhh... actually I won't be back in Bristol next weekend. Unfortunately I don't have £60 to spare, nor have time to waste 9 hours sat on a coach/train! At least you get to be home for your birthday though; I have to spend mine in lectures! Now that I feel suitably depressed, I'm going to go and amuse myself with synchronous logic design. I feel like a sodding comp-sci...
