That's right! They're over! Thank God. I really didn't appreciate the 30 minute walks in horizontal rain to an exam with wet jeans. But anyway, there were no major disasters (I don't think) We'll soon find out in about four weeks anyway. There's no rest! I have coursework to do and I'm back to lectures at 9am Monday for double maths! joy
Check out how much reading I did this semester: (pretty much the last three weeks actually)
So I'm half way through the first year! Half way through living in this flat! And a sixth of the way through uni. I don't want it to end! I love it so much! I've met such amazing people and feel completely transformed, independent. This term has been good already, even though we've all been revising.
I've got Terry Dee coming down today for a night out in Cardiff. I'll show her how it's done. Anyway, I figured it was time to tidy my room if she's staying the night. It was pretty bad. Here's the before and after:
after:
Transformed. Though, I'm not one to blow my own trumpet.
Sorry I've left it so long to blog, but with all the revision going on things haven't been too interesting. We've had some nice meals out and evenings out seeing friends from home (Pat, Ellie, Ben). It's great!
OMG! I must tell you this. I've tried for ages loads of different techniques to get rid of hiccups, (I found the best one was sucking air through water in your mouth) but nothing seems to work. I got them on the way home from an exam once. I told Speed and started doing my old techniques. Speed just said "Think of a black horse" I was like "What?!" but that was it! They had gone! So weird! And I tried it again the other day and it worked again! I don't get it but I like it. Try it.
Taking about Speed, check out his blog. It's not personal, it's about religion, theories and basically why humans are so dumb. Check it out.
Right, that's it. Speak to you soon! I'll leave you with guessing what this picture is:
