The summer

Hello, it's now the summer and I haven't yet got much to say about it...

...but I'll try

I've been doing overtime at John Lewis for three days this week, the first day I was on audio & TV which was boring. I can't talk about the products so I was stuck on till all day. I made a complete fool of myself when someone asked me where the SD cards were so I went to the first person I saw with a shirt & tie and said "SD cards. Where are they?". He looked at me confused as he walked past then said "I don't work here mate". I suppose I really should've noticed his not exactly 'partnership' uniform. Never mind. Everyone always comes to the till to ask questions and I hardly knew the answere to any!!

So the other two days I was on linens. The first day (10 - 8) wasn't too bad as I was helping Roger and Nick get stock down from upstairs in cages. The rest of the day I was on till, but the people working there were really nice and Nick and I had a good chat.

Thursday wasn't so good though because I was on till literally ALL DAY. And there was this women there who was completley eggy with me because I had my drinks bottle by the till she was all like:

"what's that?"
"uhh just my drink"
"no. no, you're not alowd that on the shop floor, take it back to where ever you got it from"
"well I'm not sure where to take it then cause I got it from the other till"
"Well then put it in the office... Sharpish!"

sharpish?! who says sharpish? What a retard. I felt like I had been told off and went bright red. It was much worse than what I can write down, I suppose you had to be there. Anyway, apparently she works on shoes sometimes so when she's up I'll kick her ass.

That night I had a really interesting conversation with a random person on MSN that I added years ago from a chat room. It was really interesting, we must have talked for about 2 hours solid. She told me that in her part of America the KKK still exist! I thought they were long gone!

Yesterday, Joey brang his drums over and Alan came over for a jam. It went well!! Andy has not officially quit the band, well, it had been going for five years! It was really fun!!
I worked in the evening and went to Jack (from college)'s house party which was pretty cool. Some idiot fell in the pond! har har.

by the way, it's been a week of taking Progain now and yes, i have put on the 2-3 pounds they promised. It's weird though, my weight fluctualtes by up to half a stone a day! But still, i recon I've gained 3-4 pounds. Pretty good for a week!
