OHhhhh wow...
I, today, have finished my very first year at universe city!!! It's so strange. It doesn't seem live I've been here long at all! And I suppose it hasn't really been a full year, but still. By the way, my exams went ok (I hope!).
So that's it! I'm free to leave the Senghetto any time I want. and lets face it, it's a dump. Sea gulls wake you up in the morning, fire alarms (at 4am) are pretty much a weekly occurrence, that stupid dick always turns up with his football when I try to revise (right next to the "no ball games" sign), and it's ugly. But, I've had such an amazing time here.
Such an amazing time. Such strong emotions and experiences. I remember in freshers week I'd smile myself to sleep every night. That seems like ten years ago now. Meeting my flat mates, meeting everyone and anyone, knocking on random peoples doors to meet them. I couldn't imagine it being as good as this before I came here.
So, with this in mind, I'm not leaving the Ghetto just yet. Well, I'm going home tomorrow actually, but only for a few days. Just to see Joe on his birthday. Then I'm coming back to my little space. Speed and I will get some jamming.
So what have I been doing? Well obviously not much apart from 20 hrs of exams. It's scary to think I've done over 40hrs of exams just this year. Imagine what I'll do in a lifetime!
It was Ryan's brithday on Tuesday. So I went along to their flat party (sporting a sandwich). I didn't even attempt the home made punch. They spent £65 on alcohol for it! Here's what it did to Ryan:
I still don't have a clue how he made it to Liquid (night club), but sure enough we did. Standard night club night really... Until we got home. Speed slept over so we set up a family guy. Then some shit went home that I can't go into. Lets just say it shook me up, bad.
On a COMPLETELY unrelated topic, the filler from the hole in the bathroom door got knocked out the other day. In it was a page from the Gair Rhydd (student magazine, think that's how you spell it!) from June 2002! Quite disappointing though, I was hoping older. This place must've been around for like 60 years. I wish I could go to the first every house party my house had...
Tonight, to celebrate the end of a great year, Speed, other and I are going to an open mic night. Much better than clubbing! I watched Peep Show last night and sometimes I remind myself of Mark the really geeky one. You know, just the stupid things I say to myself in my head.
Well, how about that for a blog? And I'm sorry it's been sooooooooooooo long! (8 days!) But I promise good things will happen soon!
