Recipes with love - 2

Ok, I really doubt I'll be able to make a new recipe for each month, but here's November's:

Ingredients:

• Some soap...
• Our scanky old microwave

Method:

• Place the soap on Ali's plate
• Put the plate and soap in the center of the microwave
• Cook on full power for about 2-5 minutes

Oh my God. It was so funny. We've been wanting to do this for ages, ever after Julian showed us the video of it on YouTube. We were bored this Friday night so we got round to doing it. Rich got some imperial leather soap and we got going.

Not much happened for a few minutes. But then!!!

Mash potato. So funny. Anyway, we got greedy and let it cook some more.

Bad move. We gave it another two then had to stop when black smoke started pouring out of the microwave and we heard a SNAP.

Oh, nice... Mash potato with gravy. What is with that brown crap!? Burt soap!?! Oh, and Ali's china plate snapped completely in half. Hope he doesn't mind, we didn't even ask to borrow it! I couldn't even stay in the kitchen. The smell was so disgustingly clean and fresh. That sort of smell just doesn't belong in a student flat.

Anyway, we're all pretty proud of it. It's now on our kitchen window sill. So I suppose it'll be a while before we run out of soap again. We have twice as much now...

P.s. Just got back from seeing Borat at the cinema. The cinema was MASSIVE! So nice! And the film was so funny! Way better than Saw III. Great.
