It's been so long and I still don't have time to talk to you! Ok, check it out
actually, I can't even remember what I've done, but Ben and Carrie and Nat came over on Saturday and I cooked them lasagne. I've been cooking a lot lately. Putting loads of effort into it but it always comes out crappy! The top of the lasagne went weird and the middle like mush, tasted nice though. The ice cream / melted chocolate made me and Nat feel ill, Ben & Carrie were so polite to eat it all! And I made my mum a flourless chocolate cake for her birthday and it's werid. Half a kilogram of dark chocolate went in, and it's such hard work to eat. She likes it though.
Talking of my mums birthday, it's such a bummer I can't see her tomorrow on the day of her birthday meal / party. I'm off to Reading festival (should be amazing!). It sucks so much when two good things land on the same day! Can't wait to see RHCP live!
Ohhh talking about seeing bands like! My prayers have been answered and Circa Survive are finally coming back to the UK! Can't wait to see them! Plus it's at Barfly (tiny) so I'll meet Anthony Green!!!
Talking of Anthony Green, I managed to find Saosin's EP (only Saosin release with him on vocals), so hard to find, in the end I had to pay £17 for a 13 minute CD! Best 13 minutes of my life though, even if it is £1.30 a minute. Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer, however, not so good.
Talking of gigs, I'm also seeing Biffy Clyro (third time) and The White Stripes in Cardiff later this year!! Woo
My little sister got her GCSE results yesterday. I can't believe how well she did! I thought she was so thick. In fact, I still do. But she got 8 A's a B and 2 C's. I don't know how she beat me in English! She spells in SMS language and when she says "Thanks" she pronounces it "Fanks", that grinds my gears so hard.
Right, srsly, I better go, need my sleep, of course I'll let you know how the festival goes!
She did do well! But of course, they were a lot harder when we did them.
ReplyDeleteHaha, JK. Give her my congrats.
